Farage's fiddling brings massive defeat

Nigel Farage's attempts to interfere in the Chesham and Amersham Branch EGM brought massive humiliation to the leadership as members voted by the huge margin of 28 to 2 for an EGM and leadership election.

Robert Kilroy-Silk whose home is only a short distance from the where the meeting was held had planned to stay away and allow the branch members to listen to both sides of the arguments as put by their own branch officials. Farage's actions in writing to members behind the back of the branch chairmen reportedly caused hime to change his mind. The pleas of an imported Faragista to argue the Knapman/Farage cause then clearly fell on deaf ears!
