Last Chance for UKIP's NEC and for UKIP

I have lost track of the number of times I have typed a headline stressing the responsibilities on the shoulders of UKIP's NEC since this blog began. Always they have failed to grasp the challenge.

I truly believe that today the real crunch point for UKIP' s future has arrived.

If any NEC member missed listening to Friday's broadcast of Any Questions, then they are unworthy of their seat on that body. It is available from the BBC Listen Again facility linked here.

Can any doubt, hearing his retorts and responses to the often slanted questions, that Robert Kilroy-Silk is anything other than the last best chance of saving our country from the EU. It is now up to the NEC to persuade Roger Knapman to resign and let a leadership election proceed if it must.
