11 MEPs take 'Vow of Silence' over Leadership! (A joke one assumes)
So that means eleven party members cannot express their views on the blog set up for comments which is linked from here.
Even these MEPs can vote in the poll carried at the head of the linked page, however, so why don't you, too, if you have yet to do so? Farage even got one vote today! Remember if UKIP is to restore democracy to Britain - it first need to restore the concept to their own party. That means getting rid of the present leadership.
One member one vote - Knapman or Kilroy - it's as simple as that. Why should the MEPs presume to remove this decision from the members hands? What good will more discussions and rows do? Have a contest and be done with it!
Read The Guardian 'Vow of Silence' report from here, it begins:
Ukip's warring factions have agreed to take a vow of silence on the question of who heads the party, after a long and at times heated summit in Brussels.
