Farage attempts to split UKIP London

Back to the normal reports of the UKIP leadership cabal trying to destroy and undermine their own party rather than the EU again, I fear, as this report received earlier today reveals:-

Quote

FARAGE TRIES TO BREAK UP LONDON UKIP AND FAILS

Last week Nigel Farage contacted three London branches and tried to arrange for them to "secede" from London Region, which showed firm and vocal opposition to the leadership of Roger Knapman last week in a rally. Farage's actions - to try and damage London and sow dissent - has been prevented by the three branches.

Although the chairmen of the three branches: Chris Pratt, Bill Jenner and James Feisenberger do not want to see Kilroy as leader, they have made clear to Farage that they view his attempts to damage the party in this way as counterproductive and actually against party rules.

"Regions are there for electoral purposes and nothing else, and branches cannot simply move their geography even if the Great Farage dictates that they can," said one of those who was being coerced by Farage early last week. "We will carry on making our points clear even though we feel we are in the minority in London.

Are South East Region Branches that support Mr Kilroy-Silk's leadership bid to be allowed to become part of the London Region where their view is not in the minority, one wonders?

Madness reigns within UKIP, and will continue to do so until the party's ordinary members summon the courage to call a halt!
